Reviews of 1408, A Mighty Heart, Fantastic Four 2 and Live Free or Die Hard. The Grindhouse stuff and the Top 5 are on part 2.

Miles and Beef (and a muffled Erin) drive to the New Beverly theater in LA to see another double feature presented by The Grindhouse. What follows in an account of the automotive mumblings of these two fine young gentleman and some of the more recent films that they've seen.

The "real" episode, with this week's Top 5 and reviews of the films will come a little later. For now, enjoy.

So we didn't see anything new this weekend, which seems hard to believe. We were gonna see Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer, but I've heard tell that the film curdles unborn babies at all stages of developement in the womb. I couldn't support that kind of behavior.

And then we were gonna see some indies (which we still might. those films were: Fido, Eagle VS. Shark and La Vie En Rose) and have an alternative to the FF. But then we didn't do that either. Yet.

So hang tough. I'm finaly going to dip into my Alejando Jodorowsky box set, so I may do a solo DVD Supplement to the normal show.
